As a Dolby Vision Post-Production Support Manager on the Cinema team, you will provide support to critical Dolby accounts with a focus on post-production and specialized venues. In this hands-on role, you will be working with partners to ensure Dolby equipment is operating correctly, supporting specific post-production workflows across various facilities/venues, and growing and maintaining relationships with key industry creatives. Creativity, flexibility and the ability to tailor your solution to the project at hand are highly valued attributes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering-level support, including equipment installation, repair, testing, integration, and calibration to studios, post-production facilities, theatres, and other specialized venues
  • Provide Dolby Vision workflow consultation and technical support for grading, mastering, and QC of Dolby Vision for theatrical formats
  • Build and maintain relationships to further evangelize the Dolby Vision format and Dolby workflows within the post community, including key colorists, studio personnel, and filmmakers.
  • Working with the wider Content and Industry Relations team, provide educational sessions on Dolby technology and workflows
  • Train customer personnel on proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment
  • Manage screenings and events presented in Dolby Vision. Events may include premieres, press screenings, advanced screenings, etc.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency with video post-production related systems and equipment (Baselight/Resolve/Color grading displays, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of Digital Cinema projectors (electrical, HVAC, advanced repairs like light engine exchanges, etc.)
  • Full and complete understanding of post-production color grading workflows and technical concepts (LUTs, color science, etc.)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently as required
  • Ability to interact with customers, including filmmakers and creative talent, as well as colleagues and executive management with confidence and under pressure
  • Thorough knowledge of Dolby products and workflows, including imaging and audio technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
  • Requires a college degree or equivalent and a minimum of five years of directly related experience

The Burbank/Los Angeles base salary range for this full-time position is $157,900- $193,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits, and can vary if outside of this location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
